The details are used for the creation and processing of your Competition entry.
Information Collected and How it is Used
In order for us to determine your eligibility to enter and to send you a complete set of results we require your name and address. Additionally a contact telephone number is necessary in case a situation should arise where we need to urgently contact you.
We also require an e-mail address to send confirmation of your entry once you have completed the entry process. By supplying us with an e-mail address you are permitting us to email you correspondence and entry details relating to the competition.
For the competition entry to be valid we need to know the style. For some categories or styles we need to also ask a couple of recipe or process questions in order to ensure that the judges are able to properly evaluate the entry. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your consent.
The results of the competition will be published on the HUB website, as well as other brewing related websites and local media. By submitting your Competition Entry you are granting the organisers explicit permission to publish your name, beer style and judging scores. No other contact or personal information will be published.
We will never give your information to an outside organisation, unless it is required for the running of the Competition, or it is needed for the purpose of the law.
Accuracy of Information
We will hold up to-date accurate information about you, as an entrant, which you can check by contacting us. If this information is incorrect we will amend your details immediately on your instruction.
How we Share Information.
Because of the nature of some of our prizes, it may be necessary for us to transfer your details overseas in order to properly notify the organisation or business donating the prize. By entering a Competition that that includes the possibility of prizes located outside of Australia, you consent to us doing so.
We will not disclose information about you or any of your entries to third party organisations not directly concerned with the running of the Competition or the handling of your competition entry. All details will be handled in accordance with the guidelines outlined on the Privacy Commissioners website www.privacy.gov.au
